Perfect Fudgey brownies

The very BEST chocolate fudgey brownies with the perfect crinkle top. High quality chocolate brownie batter with an exuberant amount of chocolate chips mixed through out for the truly perfect brownie. Sweet chocolate chips are swirled in with the chocolate brownie batter before baking to perfection. Before going in the oven these brownies are sprinkled with another layer of chocolate that melts and creates a fudgey, moist, melt in your mouth brownie. There is nothing lacking in these decadent brownies. Each bite is filled with rich, creamy chocolate and fudgey chips with a perfect crinkle top. Again, it’s true perfection.

Melt in your mouth peanut chocolate goodness

I think brownies were the first thing I learned to bake when I was a girl. I loved when my mom would buy the box mix and let me go to town experimenting with different add ins and variations. It has always been one of my favorite things to bake. But, I always come back to the best brownie is, the classic. Crinkle top, fudgey center, and if you’re feeling wild you add those chocolate chips in there! After much recipe testing, I have come up with THE perfect brownie.

These brownies are soft, chewy, have that little “crunch” from the chocolate chips. They are the perfect melt-in-you-mouth brownies. My not so secret weapon is the brown sugar you’ll be using for these brownies. They add an additional softness that we all crave when going for a brownie. And of course, the ridiculous amount of chocolate chips that are added as well, take these to a place that’s indescribable. It’s everything you ever wanted, but never knew you needed. Once you make my recipe, you’ll never need another brownie recipe! They truly are that PERFECT!

What I love so much about these brownies is their ability to be adapted. You like nuts, go ahead and add them! Peanut butter chips, no problem! You just go ahead and add baby, add! In fact, typing this out is suddenly giving me a real hankering for that exact combination! I suggest if you are going to make your own combination of add ins, to measure 1/2 cup at a time for each new ingredient. You don’t want it to become so disgustingly sweet that they are no longer highlighting the real flavors that come out in this recipe.

If you happen to make these brownies, give me a shout out! I love to hear the feedback from all of you! It’s so fun to see the different variations YOU come up with! Until next time…

What You’ll Need For These brownies:

You’re not a cheap wine type of gal. Because every time you go down that route, you wake up the next morning with instant regret. Don’t be the “cheap wine” brownie baker, splurge on those quality ingredients. Trust me, they really make a difference.

  • Unsalted Butter: This is such a key ingredient! You want to control how much salt goes into any recipe. And when you use salted butter, you give up all control!

  • Sugar: Granulated sugar provides a very “clean” sweet flavor to your baking and is a huge part behind the perfect crumbly bites we all love and adore.

  • Brown Sugar: This type of sugar adds softness and moistness to what you are baking. I find the combo of the two sugars to make the most perfect brownies.

  • Eggs: Do yourself a favor and buy those organic eggs, friend. Also, make sure they are room temperature before using!

  • Vanilla: I like to use a high quality vanilla bean paste for these brownies. You can find vanilla bean paste at any local grocery store or on Amazon.

  • All Purpose Flour: My favorite brand is King Arthur. And it really does make a difference to buy the more expensive one. It’s better quality, which results in a better brownie!

  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder: This is where I would definitely splurge. Buy something organic and high quality. Brownies are good when you use good chocolate!

  • Salt: Baked Foods NEED salt. Otherwise they’re obnoxiously sweet. The salt enhances the flavor. Just trust me, okay?

  • Chocolate Chips: If you don’t listen to anything else I say, PLEASE buy quality chocolate chips! I used to always go with the cheapest chips I could find and because of that my baked good were lacking. Guittard is my favorite brand!
